HIV and white spots on tonsils

Hi everyone i am new to this board. I have a quick hiv question. I recently got tested in February of this year and everything came back great...negative for hiv and all stds and i hadnt engaged in any form of sex for 2 years prior to this test. my boyfriend just got tested in May of this year he is negative for everything also and he hadnt engaged in any sex since August of 2009.. My question is we made the decision to have unprotected sex because we knew we were both clean, but then a few weeks later i got weird strange white spots on my tonsils. Went to doctor and she said it was tonsil stones. Ok, does anyone think i have anything to worry about. I have been stressing and worrying sick over this because they say white spots could be a sign of hiv if see in the throat, but mine were on my tonsils. i also have extreme anxiety and am seeing a therapist and she said its probably stress related. I have also been under chronic stress and my doctor said its probably due to bacteria in the mouth and me not getting proper sleep and not getting proper nutrients. im so scared. does anyone think im overacting or do i really have something to worry about? let me add that my boyfriend and i have never had unprotected sex with any of our partners in the past.

Britty.  Lots of people get white spots in the throat.  Lots of people get thrush in the mouth and they don't have HIV.  A large number of them end up here because they've just got it for the first time and they Google it and think they have HIV.  They don't.  I have it right now and I am negative.  Am I bothered?  No!

Remember that this worrying you are doing is displacement from the chronic stress that you have been going through.  Go easy on yourself now.  Your problems are not even close to being HIV related.

yes, i am trying to do that. i just find it odd that after unprotected sex that i had these white spots on my tonsils. so, you believe i have nothing to worry about? im just a very paranoid and anxious person lately and anything makes me worry about my health. my last hiv test was in 05 so an hiv test after 5 years has got to be accurate right?

Oh britty.  You need to carry on getting the help for your anxiety because there is absolutely no substance to this.  That demonstrates how serious your anxiety is because, believe me, anyone could tell you that you are ok.
