Blood in mouth when kissing

Hi I wanted to ask what the risk of getting hiv through kissing is? I recently had protected sex with a guy but we did do deep kissing at the time I didn’t pay attention to the fact that I had a cut an bleeding gums, whilst we were kissing I could taste blood from his mouth which is when we stopped. Is there any chance to get infected this way?

You need not worry about HIV from this event. Kissing with or without presence of blood is not a risk, saliva has proteins that inhibits the virus.

There is no need to test.
