Can Hiv medication affect the result of rapid hiv testing?
Hello there:
I have recently encountered several cases where those have been already diagnosed hiv postitive and on the hiv medication for a few months but now are tested negative by using the rapid hiv testing...
I know that the hiv testing should be detecting hiv antibody not the virus itself,then can anyone explain me the reasons?

No it's not effected the rapid test results . Either they are really negative or they use expired kits .
