Can a Metal scrape cause HIV

Hi,
Last night I went to a strip club, I was sitting on the wooden steps over there. The wooden steps are used by people to sit including the dancers who sit there with naked thighs . I got a scratch on the back of my left thigh by a pointed aluminium strip which was crooked up. I was wondering of any likelyhood for catching HIV like this . I could not feel any blood on the scratch . The scratch is about half inch long and after 12 hours now I dont feel a crust on it , just a red line

Another day, another strip club question. Jeez. I can only say that if "strip clubs" were that much of a risk for HIV infection then surely they would all have been closed down by public health officals.............

Your problem is one of ignorance, not HIV infection. You cannot and will not ever become infected with HIV through environmental contact. HIV is decativated almost immediately outside of it's host body. You had no risk, no matter how you want to spin it.

My advice to you is to learn how HIV can and cannot be transmitted. Educate yourself so that you can better protect yourself and others int he future.
