This could be stupid, but I'd like some thoughts.
I've never had any allergy/sinus problems in my life before I had an unprotected anal encounter with an unknown partner. I topped him; we performed mutual oral (insertive and receptive oral).
About 4 weeks after this encounter, I started having out of nowhere, mucous dripping in my throat. It's like a constant ball of phlegm in my throat; sometimes its pale green, sometimes yellow.
Various doctors including ENT (ear/nose/throat) say it's post-nasal drip, but can't explain the cause. This started in the middle of a hot summer. I still have it, so the problem has now lasted 9 months and is ongoing.
Anyway, the partner said he was HIV negative. I tested at 2 weeks, 11.5 weeks and 12.5 weeks after the incident. All tests were negative. He told me at 14 weeks that he tested himself and was also negative.
Is there even a slight chance that the sinus issue is related to HIV?
