dear teak i recently come to know while surfing net ,that the hiv patients are suffered with xerostomia(dry moth) with mouth ulcers and ofcourse in severe cases it causes bleeding gums also..in that cases there is not that much saliva in the mouth.what are the chances of hiv infection spit sray(contains blood from dry mouth) into eyes from such a person to a healthy individual??? is that blood from mouth to eyes carries 0.1% risk by cdc...?

I have no idea where you are getting your incorrect information.
1. Transfusions are safe, blood has been screened since 1985
2. artificial insemination is safe, donated semen it tested
3. skin and organ transplantation is safe, all donations are screened.

I can tell you it is not true. I've lived with HIV for 26 years never have had dry mouth or sores in my mouth.

Don't act like a paranoid.Zero risk.

HIV is transmitted by

a) unprotected sex with a  person infected with HIV.
b)sharing of needles with a  personinfected with HIV.
c)HIV+ mother to a child this can occur during pregnancy, at birth and through breastfeeding.
d) Injection or transfusion of contaminated blood or blood products, donations of semen           (artificial insemination), skin grafts or organ transplants taken from someone who is infected with HIV.

Always use condom properly and never share needles.

HIV is a very fragile(weak) virus when it moves out of the body it will be inactive in a meaning the temperature outside the body and the pH outside the body well make it die ( inactive ) for that zero risk
