Thanks for your response. I went to the STD clinic/testing site in my town and they said in all their years of working with this they HAVE never seen a single case of HIV from fingering or rimming. They confirmed that rimming is much more likely to transmit Hep or other parasites. They did a rapid test-which was NEGATIVE-although that wouldn't detect something so recent. They also did the test that looks for the virus and I will get the results in 2 weeks. I hope it is all ok.
Thanks again. The HIV clinic in my town is who I was talking about when they said that fingering is a risk.
they are not well versed with modes of transmission..
you dont have a risk..no testing required..forget about it and move on
Thanks again. The reason I am worried is because I called my local health clinic/testing location and they said there was a risk involved in fingering.
Thanks for your time and quick response. Where is the HIV Anxiety forum that you mentioned in an earlier post? Thanks.
Without any cuts the risk is zero. If there were visible, sizable, bleeding cuts/wounds there would be a very low theoretical risk (perhaps zero) - but you would have known if there such cuts/wounds.
nothing you did put yourself in risk..
does not matter whether you had small cuts on your fingers, still there is no risk..
you dont have to worry about hiv..
