Hiv from roomate?

Hello all. Ive been having some trouble not knowing whats going on lately. I keep thinking my mean roomate is going to stab or slowly insert a tiny needle in my arm while i sleep and inject me with hiv blood if he has the virus. I am assuming he does because i overheard him and his gf talking about hiv treatment. I know this sounds crazy but ive been waking up with sore parts on my arm and its my vein that hurts and i look and there is bruising and dot marks. This has been going on for a while and my roomate isnt very nice to me and he also knows how scared i am of hiv yet another reason to purposely give me the virus while im asleep. Someone help i dont know of this is me just being paranoid or not. Why else would my arm be in tjis much pain on my vein?

Again, this is not a realistic scenario and one that we can't comment on as you don't know for sure.  We're going to close this thread now as there is nothing further to offer when the exposure is not one that has definitely happened.  Please see a doctor for your health concerns and anxiety and we wish you the best of health.

I know what you are saying as far as been used on an hiv positive person first and thats what i mean if he filled a needle with his own blood and put it in my arm while i was asleep and pushed the contents in my arm and me not wake up because i was in a deep sleep

In answer to your question, yes.  This is a very unlikely scenario.  Please keep in mind as well, in order to be infected with HIV from a drug needle, the needle would have to have been used on an HIV+ person. HIV also becomes inactive when exposed to air.  With the utmost respect, I would suggest seeking help with anxiety.  We wish you the best.

Show your doctor the marks because no one can tell if you even have marks from here. Ask yourself why would he keep injecting you and run the risk of getting caught, when one injection would likely infect.
