Even if a woman has HIV, the chance of transmission from female to male is once for every 2,000 episodes of unprotected vaginal sex. And HIV is rare in women in the US, so your risk was even lower. If you want to call that "high risk", it's fine with me. I don't.
How high your risk was is completely irrelevant anyway. Even if your exposure was the highest risk imaginable, the negative test result shows you didn't catch it.
You don't have HIV. The risk of HIV in the circumstances you describe is almost zero; your symptoms do not particularly suggest HIV; and most important, the negative antibody test result at 13 weeks proves 100% you don't have HIV. There is no need for further HIV testing. Follow your own health care provider's advice to learn the cause of your problem and what to do about it. But put HIV out of your mind. It's something else.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
You're the only one surprised by the results. Take care.

Well im learning alot about Hiv and will be practicing safe sex from now on. With the diarrhea, weight loss and swollen lymp nodes happening to me all of a sudden just put me over the edge a bit. Maybe this was a warning for me.
