Could getting a hepatitis B vacinne cause a false positive HIV result?

I have had a couple of regular protected sexual encounters (just penetrative vaginal sex with condoms, no kissing or oral) with prostitutes over the past months my last encounter being exactly 3weeks ago, coincidentally i had a shot of hepatitis b vaccine from a local health center precisely 2weeks ago, afterwards,

I started feeling joint aches (most severe in the groin of the lap where i got the shot), followed by mild fever and fatigue, I wanted to dismiss the symptoms as reaction from the vaccine shot but they got more serious, including a mouth ulcer and rigor on one occasion, i had some blood test the next day, a complete blood count and urinalysis and a urine culture, the result showed the total Wbc count of 2500 (a bit low) and percentage of lymphocytes more than the neutrophils (about Neut - 40% and Lymph - 60%), significant malaria parasite, and the urinalysis showed presence of urobilinogen, otherwise no other abnormality, the urine culture yielded no pathogen.

I got treated properly for malaria, and also got medication to get rid of the urobilinogen, but the mild feverish, fatigue and a general feeling of being unwell continued, the first mouth ulcer healed after 3days, only for three more to appear 2days later, much more painful than the first, i feel no other symptom at the moment.
A follow up test conducted 3days ago, showed the total Wbc count to be 4600 (normal), Neut - 66%, lymph - 32% and mono - 2%. No signs of malaria, no abnormality in the urine sample too.

I had to order for a HIV test.
The first test kit, Determine (known to be very sensitive) showed a faint positive band in the test region, while the second kit Global devices showed negative result, the Lab has already booked me for a second test on 30th, 6weeks from my last possible exposure, but I'm already very scared.

What are my chances of having being infected during a protected sexual intercourse? The health center would never have injected me with a contaminated needle, or could it still be the vaccine causing my complications and the faint positive line?

I'd really appreciate any candid opinions or advice. Thank you all.

Now, this is anxiety driving you. Not playing the 'what if ' game. With the control procedures in modern healthcare now., situations like the ones you mention do not happen.

If you had engaged in protected sex all the while, you have nothing to worry regarding hiv. Condoms are very effective in preventing hiv. You had no risk in the first place and didn't need testing. False positives do happen, don't be alarmed by it. If you were positive, the second test would have indicated so. I believe the test you're taking later will be negative as well.

Thanks for your very prompt and kind response,it's a bit reassuring. But let's assume maybe the needle on the second occasion or even that the vaccine itself is contaminated, what are my risks as regards to that?
