This will be my final answer.
You said in your intial question that it was irrational. I'm not sure about that but since then your question after question does inidcate that your anxiety is getting the best of you. You need to get a grip on yourself and move forward.
End of thread. EWH
Thank you doctor!
I was only concerned about HBV cause i heard that its more contagious and more resistant than HIV.
But i guess that makes no difference in this situation.
Doctor do i maybe overrthinking this situation?
This was my last question, sorry to bother you
Correct. I would not worry. BTW, hepatitis C is not an STI with the exception of in the case of rectal intercourse. EWH
Dear doctor sorry for the follow up question ,i clearly did understand your answer.
Is there a reason for concern for HBV and Hep C in this situation.?
Should i let it go?
Not a problem. I hope my comments are helpful. EWH
Sorry doctor i didnt know that the threads are limited.
Thank you for answering my question

As for the event you describe, this did not put you at any risk for HIV or any other STI. There is no evidence that HIV is spread from person to person by the transfer of genital secretions on a person's hands to another person. That you may have had a cut that was touched does not change this.
HIV is a fragile virus which is proven to be transmitted in adults only by unprotected, penetrative sexual contact or injection of infected material deep into tissue. There are many reasons for this but the major one is that as soon as the virus is outside of the body it begins to die and becomes non-infectious to others.
Please do not worry about the contact you describe. There is no reason for concern and no medical reason for testing. EWH
The cut was maybe 1 cm long
