Do I have HIV ?

Doctor, before we move on I like to say I am a CFIDS Patient.

My story, about 8 weeks ago I had received a oral sex from a Mexican CSW, she was from Nogalas, Mexico. Few days later, I had symptoms of Urinary Tract and was given  some medicine to take care of it.

Fast forward to 4 weeks later after the exposure, I started having symptoms of ear pain, muscle pain, mouth sores, fatigue, and loose stool, itchy skin, lymph node pain in the neck, groin and the armpit.

8 weeks later I came down to a full blown cold, I had ear infection, loose stool, itchy skin,  brown rash on the skins, and mouth ulcer that will take weeks to heal.

I still feel sick with a crazy noise in the stomach with weakness, pain on the both side of rib cage, brown rash on the skin, fatigue, and lymph node pain.

Was I at risk for HIV ? Was this ARS  ?

Does CFIDS Delay my HIV antibodies. ?

Should I worry about HIV ?

I am very concern about this matter.

Thank you
Lund

Last time.  You have nothing to worry about.  Your lymphocyte count is nothing to worry about and is within the normal range.  Time to move on. to help this, since my answers seem to only lead to your next baseless question, there will be no further answers and additional quesitons will be deleted.  EWH

Doc, I don't know if you will answer this or not, I am still concern, because, I have been sick for last 1, symptoms are of Hay Fever, I've taken Allegra D and All kinds of spray in the nose, still it's not getting better.

In addition, my recent CBC Shows my lymphocytes are going down and down.

Do you know what can cause my lymphocytes to down quick:

June 1st = 61%
July 1st = 51%
Aug 1st = 37 %

It seems like my lymph are dropping quick.  I never had lymph of 37% before.

Should I still worry or just move on and forget about it all and hope thing will get better ?

Tinea versicolor is a very, very common skin rash which is in no way related to HIV.  Realisitically, you have no reason to worry about HIV.  time to move on

Doc, the rash was diagnosis as Tinea Versicolor by my doctor today on the hand...

Is this related to HIV ?

My Canker sores takes weeks and weeks to heal before they only took days.

Please assure and give me your input.

Thanks.  Now for your questions ((BTW, there is no data to suggest that persons CFIDS have abnormal response to vaccines of infectious diseases)

1.  the timing and sequence of events you describe do not fit with the ARS. Will what you describe does include several elements of the ARS. the symptoms of the ARS are TOTALLY non-specific and when people experience "ARS symptoms" they are much more likely to have something else, usually some other, more typical virus infection.  When this has been studied in the US, less than 1% of persons seeking medical care for "ARS symptoms" are found to have HIV, the remainder having symptoms due to other processes. In contrast, over a given year, there is almost no one who has not had a viral illness, night sweats or both (sometimes on multiple occasions).  In addition, it is also important to realize that many (well over 50%) of persons who acquire HIV do not experience the ARS.  For a person to try to judge their HIV risk based on "ARS symptoms" is a waste of time.
2. See aove, no. change in antibody response
3.  No.  this risk of getting HIV, IF she was infected )and she was probably was not) is less than 1 in 10,000.

I do not think you need testing.  EWH
