Nurse dropped glove on floor

0 Hi everyone ,
im pregnant and I was having my blood drawn today. The nurse dropped her gloves on the floor and then proceeded to pick them up and put them on. Then she touched the site of my needle prick and then took my blood . I am very nervous about this whole situation and would like to know if there is any risk for hiv or anything else. Thank you

HIV is inactivated in air or everyone in America would have it from cuts etc.HIV isn't hardy like a cold virus that lives for weeks on a doorknob after someone sneezes on it.
Thank you so much for your reply one more question. What's the worst that can happen with this situation? Nurse dropped gloves on floor and then used them to take my blood. Touching puncture site beforehand
This is an HIV forum so you would have to check other sites for whatever you fear.

I don't imagine there was anything on the floor that will hurt you but I am no expert. People rub all kinds of stuff into a cut by accident and nothing happens or if it does it is rare.
Thank you so much !
