Oral sex on woman with menstrual blood

Is oral sex on a woman who who is having her period a risk if you get a small bit of blood in your mouth? Is it a reason to get tested for HIV?

This is not a risk.  Oral sex will not transmit HIV even with blood involved from her menstruation and a cut in your mouth.  Air and saliva inactivate the virus.  The only ways that people get HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal penetrating sex or sharing of IV drug needles.  So, no worries as this was not a risk.
