HIV - worried

Dear Doc.

First of all thank you for your posts and previous answers to others who have been going through similar worries.

I went to a massage parlour last month. She I believe was HIV+ as she was ready to take all the risk like oral without etc. However I did not go ahead with unprotected way.  My questions are

1. We had deep kissing, The taste was wired and I am bit concerned that it might be blood in her mouth. I read that it is possible to get HIV through kissing, how true is that?
2. Before I stop her she gave me oral sex without for up to ten seconds, what are the risks?
3. She was playing with her vagina and she touched with the same hand while giving me a hand job. I am more worried about this incident.

Doc. I am really worried. I feel guilty. Please help me out in this matter.

Kind regards

Dev

What would you like to hear other than you never had a risk in the situation you've provided?

all we can do is state the facts surrounding hiv and transmission.  as far as your original post...

#1)  hiv is NOT transmitted through kissing

#2)  receiving oral sex is NOT a risk

#3)  as dr. hook so eloquently puts it...a handjob is NO risk, regardless of where she had her fingers first.

Thank you Lizzie. I would not add fuel to my worry any more. But dont you think to get worried is natural. And as I am not expert in the subject, I wait to hear something that helps.

no one has been identified as infected with HIV due to contact with an environmental surface. Additionally, HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions, therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Last week she told me she has cervical cancer which is common. Although I agree its due to HPV and unprotected Sex. However, Unprotected sex and being a sex worker she is most likly to be exposed to the HIV virus and thus I am worried. Hope you understand what I mean.

OH, and you had no risk. So whatever I said above is irrelevant anyway.

Cervical cancer has pretty much nothing to do with HIV. The only reason (i think) Cervical cancer is related is because unprotected sex -> HPV -> Cervical cancer. The unprotected sex also gives them HIV and thus, a correlation.

Thank you for your reply. However, I forgot to add one thing. She told me last week that she has a Cervical Cencer which is common in HIV+. Considering this please let me know what do you think my chances are?
