oral sex

I have gave oral sex three years ago and received oral sex in november. I did not know you could get HVI from these acts. On the part where I performed he did not have an orgasm, it lasted maybe 5 minutes and I stopped. The second I was receiving and did not have an orgasm. I always thought oral was the "safe" sex.
I seen the doctor twice, I did not tell him of my activities. He did a check up listened to my lungs, felt my nodes and glands, did an EKG and a chest X-ray. He did not feel there was any reason to do a blood test. He said I am suffering from anxiety. Should I trust his assesment?
Do you think I am overreacting?

thanks!

So your strategy, condom for vaginal sex and no protection for oral, in fact is a super-safe strategy that will indeed keep you free of HIV.

Good luck-- HHH, MD

I am still going and getting blood work done tomorrow. I have been a wreck for the last two weeks. I was too much of a coward to talk to the doctor. I even wanted to goto our health dept. but could not get my nerve upto it. I have not had ANY flu like symptoms in 3-4 years. Thank you for your response. I feel somewhat better. The doc even put me on XANAX!
