PLEASE HELP...... NEED ADVICE

I went to Tijuana, Mexico and had protected sex two times with a sex worker about a month back. Both these acts were done with the use of a condom. Do I stand a risk of getting HIV? I got tested and the results were negative. But this was just a month back. Is it true that you have to get other STD's to get HIV. I am really scared and would really appreciate if you could advice me. Is there more chance of me getting HIV if the sex worker was already infected with HIV?

Should I even bother getting tested?

I am willing to bet everything i have that you will be negative.

I, on the other hand, could possibly be positive :(

You will not get HIV using a condom. Safe sex = No HIV risk

While having other STD's increases the risk of HIV transmission, you can get HIV all on its own.

You don't need to get tested.

Since you are so paranoid about your protected sex encounter, maybe stay away from sex workers in the future?
