We don't know why you have a fever, but it clearly isn't related to the conditions you've been tested for. Fevers occur with all sorts of things, including cold and flu. Your doctor would probably be able to tell you.

You NEVER had a risk for HIV, you did NOT need to test and you sure did NOT need to be put on PEP. Your fever had absolutely NOTHING to do with HIV. See your doctor if you still have a fever and if your palms are still burning. But I'd sure advise you see a different doctor......... And for the record, wearing two condoms is a VERY bad idea! It does NOT make the sex safer..........just the opposite. The added friction of two condoms rubbing together is more likely to cause them to BOTH fail. Your doctor should have explained, in detail, the testing protocols for someone taking PEP. If you have access to an HIV Clinic, I strongly advise speaking with a counselor for advice.
