20th of July was the day that starts my worst period of my life; insertive anal sex with gay.
I had no idea about hiv and aids. But I believed I was hiv positive.
How can I tell you the worries that I experienced.
I could not work, study, sleep, talk to my girl friend, my mom for weeks, months.
In my job, all day I sit and think and think and think.
My boss and girl friend started to complain.
I used to drink alcohol.
I started to use 3 depression pills, smoke 2 packets of cigarette in a day.
I escaped from my job and walk alone for hours.
Symptoms had started.
Oh my god!
The guy stopped to answer me on phone. I learnt that he is working as a organizer in a bar. It may be a gay bar or something. His house was disaster, a piece of ****. But sometimes you can not refuse your instincts. Do not blame yourself. We are human, not robots. We make mistakes.
Then, I see medhelp forum. Dear all, thank you for all. You were great. You are my friends. You answered my silly questions. Doctor HHH is number one.
Today, I got 85 days negative result. This was my 6th ot 7th test. I forgot their numbers.
Actually, I have some advices for newcomers:
1) Learn the possibilities of hiv transmission. Vaginal Sex: 5/10.000 and Insertive Anal: 6,5/10.000. Take a breath. Read and learn. Sources: medhelp,thebody,aidsmeds. Read the forums. You are not alone. Ask to forums. Teak will help you :)
2)Take Combo test at 28th day. More than 95% accuracy.
3) Take standard anti-hiv test at 6 weeks: Now you are %99 not hiv positive. (%100 according to doctor HHH-Look to CV of doctor to learn about his career.)
4) If you are not relax yet take 12 weeks test. You will be negative.
5) Use condom friends. I am begging you.

Congratulations mate. Its very pleasing to learn that you are out of that nightmare. Enjoy your life which is beautiful and wonderful gift of nature, granted only once. Also thanks for the advise. Commenting on point 5, In my list of safe sex priorities, condoms, though provide excellent protection but come after "abstinence from unknown one timers" and "loyalty with your committed relationship", based on my own risk analysis of the three options. When you do not have any committed partner and unknown one timer is unavoidable, never ever try without a condom rolled on.
Whats a combo test?I took a rapid test is it still 95%accurate?
