Dr.,
I posted a question last week and would apprecite your input on whats going on further.  So i have a decent amount of lymphnodes up in my neck, probably from the sore throat fever episode i had 3 1/2 weeks ago that I discuss in my other post.  I went to the Dr., and he wasn't please with how sore my throat is (even though I mentioned to him that I started to smoke a little again from this stress, he then felt the nodes in my neck and check my armpits and groin for other nodes, he couldn't find any.  Worried, he ordered a mono test and took a culture of my throat (this was all on Tuesday). I asked him if he could also do another HIV test which he agreed to.  This HIV test is was taken exactly 4 weeks from the exposure I describe in my other post.   I woke up today, with a brand new sore throat, which i do understand could be a result of smoking a cigarette or two in ths cold weather we are having.   I caled the Dr.'s office and they said all tests were good (the mono, HIV, and, I guess, the culture he took.  5 minutes ago, I noticed one or two raised lymphnodes in my groin ( i realize that i was already able to feel some nodes in my groin, but these I've never felt before. Trust me, like a goof, ive been checking every day more than once since the "exposure".

My questions are:
1. What do you make of the negative HIV test exactly 4 weks from the exposure, how comfortable can I be at this point that I was not infected?
2. Would these nodes in my neck be a result of HIV infection at all? I seem to be feeling a new one every day or two!
3. What should I think about these new nodes in my groin.  Before, I was operating under the assumption that as long as the nodes were just in my neck, that I had not to Worry as I read that with HIV infection that nodes would be generalized, raising in more than one occasion.
4. Would you be concerned at this point about me having sex with women again?
Please help me so I can put this matter, hopefully, behind me.

Dr.  I understand your guys frustration with me, trust me I do, as i"m am sick of the constant anxiety from this "episode" too.  I can assure you that this will be my last post.  I would just like to know if your dismissal, was, at least in part, due to you reading the above post by me and it having no changing in the opinion that the other Dr. had in my previous thread.  I had some comfort before when the Dr. said that raised nodes in connection with HIV were generalized, but the swollen nodes in my groin also have me worried again. Again, sorry that I poseted again. Please dont delete. A simple "Correct, you have nothing to worry about." would be great

Dr. Hook ended your thread a few days ago with this statement:  "You need to stop worrying and not think that every little thing that you notice about yourself is HIV.  You really are not at risk.  Please, no further questions, they do neither you, nor those who follow this site any good."

You cannot get around that by starting a new thread, which is a waste of your emotional energy and my time, and provides no value to other forum users.  It will be deleted.
