Expourse was 7 months agoo ...accidentally piecered the needle stick ..... i tested after 3 months negative ...but anxiety goes on ....after than , i tested 3 to4 times with hiv combo test of alere determine brand in home .... infact i have injection fear since from childhood , so i tested finger prick and dont use pippet and touch the kits pad to transfer blood on kit  and  touch chase buffer solution with pricked finger .....i read a article that kits contain hiv antigen and virus to detect antibodies from specimen blood .... i am very afraid to read this that can i expose from kit pad which contain hiv antigen
My specific question is that can hiv antibodies and antigens are infectious and transfer the hiv ..and how safe are hiv test kits and metrial along with are safe ...please eloborate my specific question sceitifically so that my mind can relaese ...bcz i can not afford test again and again ....please help me
You never had a risk. Don't let anxiety ruin things for you. Please make an appointment with a therapist near your home and work with them to treat your issues objectively.

I promise you don't have to be scared about HIV, you never had a risk.
Thanks  from your precious comments ....your promise made me happy ...i will try to discard anxiety .... i just want to confirm that kits contain antigens and antibodies are harmless .... xan you help me to send sectific articles related to it sothat  i totally discarde the remaining 30 %  anxiety from my mind ..
The kits DO NOT contain antigens or antibodies.  The kits only detect antigens and antibodies.  It is time for you to forget about HIV and move on.  You can find studies on your own by using scholar.google.com.
Thanks curfewx .... dear i read on fda in the documentation of test kits ..that
"it contain monoclonal biotinylated anti hiv p24 antibody ...a conjugate pad contain monoclonal anti hiv p24 antibody colloidal selenium and hiv 1 and hiv 2 recombinant antigen collidoal selenium and a nitrocelloluse membrane with a immobilized mixture recombinant and synthetic peptide hiv 1& 2 antigen  in the lower test area, immobalize streptavidine in the upper test area and immobalized mixture of anti hiv 1 antibodies , hiv 1 and 2 antigens and hiv 1 p24 recombinant  antigen and anti hiv 1 p24  monoclonal antibody in the control area ".
Exatly same text were there ...what does it mean and what type of these antigens and antibodies are used in hiv test kits while manufacturing ... are these harmless or infectious if touch with pricked finger ...  i just want to know what kind of these terms .... any dr or biochemist or any full educated person can help me ... help me plz  just this one question remains in my mind
It is not possible to be infected with HIV from the test.  It is time to put HIV behind you - there is nothing more for our members to add.  You have tested conclusively negative for HIV.

This answers all of your HIV questions, and if you can think of any more just reread about the 3. You had zero risk therefore  testing is irrelevant to your situation because you had zero risk. HIV is a fragile virus, which is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only 3 adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal with a penis
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex with a penis
3. sharing needles that you inject with.
The only way to get HIV is if you did one of the 3. The situation you describe is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established, so no detail that you can add to your encounter will change it from zero risk. Doctors have calculated the risk from what you describe to be less than that of being hit by a meteor, therefore no one will get HIV from what you did in the next 40 years of your life either.
If you didn't have one of the 3 then you are just worrying about your own hiv theory - which is unrealistic for you to think that can become reality - so you should move on back to your happy life instead.
It is silly to think that people get hiv from an hiv test kit. Stop googling for death cold turkey because you don`t have any medical training and you are mixed up about what you are reading so you need to stop pretending you can be a hiv doctor.
