Mutual masturbation is always safe sex. Even when a person has just acquired HIV. No one has EVER gotten HIV from mutual masturbation. EWH
The chances that the rash you are experiencing is due to HIV caught at the encounter you described is close to zero. If you are having a rash and it is troubling you, you should see your doctor about what is casuing it. Anxiety can cause rashes.
This will be the last response. EWH
Sorry to trouble you again Doctor but the thing is suddenly some sort of rashes have started occuring over my chest and my forehead..... I don't know the reason.... Its all to sudden... Do you think rash due to HIV can occur within 7 days of the encounter ????? Or is it rashes due to stress?????? plz reply.... i am really scared......... Will anything happen to me???? plz reply...
Thanks a lot doctor.... i hope things would be fine.... Just my final question only thing I want to know is when a person is newly infected with HIV isn't their viral load quite high ???? In that case isn't mutual masturbation a bit risky?????
Thanks a lot...
Please re-read my comment above regarding symptoms.
As far as HIV-related lymph node swelling is concerned, when this occurs it is asymptomatic. You need not worry bout the discomfort under your arms.
A final word of advice- STOP searching tthe internet for HIV-related symptoms. The information posted there is wrong as often as it is right. EWH
Dr. I think i sort of got the point that what i did had low or almost no chance of HIV transmission. And if the escort is saying the truth and gets herself tested and is clean then I have no chance of getting anything. The only thing i would like to know in HIV do the lypmh glands get swollen or they burn ?????? bcoz two days ago for an hour or so my lymph glands in my under arms were burning..... so that sort of made me a lot more worried.... i think i sort of know that i don't have anything but the thing is that everyday since that incident even if there is a problem in any part of my body i get really scared and i start looking for HIV symptoms on the internet...... moreover i am having diarrhoea for which i have started medication but this diarhhoea and sometimes pain on the upper part of the penis makes me worried and stressed......
You have little to worry about. Your intercourse was condom protected and condoms work. That you came into contact with her vaginal fluids or saliva during the encounter is not a concern - this is a normal part of foreplay and masturbation but has never been associated with HIV transmission. Whether or not you had a small cut or abrasion is irrelevant- it was still safe sex.
In addition, not only statistically is it likely that she was not HIV infected (most commercial sex workers are not) but, in addition, her behavior suggests that she is fastidious about protecting herself. Please realize that the reason that she insisted on using a condom and even on changing it to make sure it was not susceptible to breakage was most likely to protect herself from you, not the other way around.
Regarding the "red marks" you observed, while I cannot tell you what they were due to, I can tell you that surgery on lymph nodes which are swollen is not part of care of HIV so, not matter why she might have had surgery , there is no reason to think it might be associated with HIV.
Finally, your symptoms are non-specific and more likely associated with anxiety than anything else. For sure, any symptoms which began within 24 hours of your encounter are certainly not HIV or STD associated. it is just too soon.
Bottom line, you are not at risk. In fact, there is really no medical reason for getting tested, given your description of the events, other than for your own peace of mind.
Hope this helps. EWH
I also forgot to add that after spitting on my penis she rubbed oil on it and gave me the handjob. Moreover, she also massaged me on the back with oil without cleaning her hands. Can her vaginal fluids have got in my penis or in my back if i have any small cut or something????
