I am agree with you SkinJ. I wish I had known about this before too.
Now, it is obvious that only CDC accepts window period as 6 months.
Teak advocates CDC but I am asking if 3 months is conclusive for CDC, why don't they change the statement in their web-site?
They never mention late seroconvert situations as drug using, cancer treatment etc..They say 97% bla bla bla..2 days ago, I phoned them and they insisted on 6 months again.
Anyway, CDC sucks for their big, fat, unnecessary, depressive insist about window period.
CDC Sucks..As everything U.S.A does, CDC sucks for insisting on 6 month!
Take your political junk some place else.
Yes I did not see any reference to the CDC or months for testing in this document, for me it was simply informative as a set of guidlines.
You need to get your facts straight. The CDC does NOT insist on 6 months. Like the GUM clinic 3 months is conclusive by the CDC.
What an informative guide. Wish I had known about this before. I can see that a number of guidlines have not been met by my local GUM clinic expecially around the need for councelling and preparation / support for a positive result. The NHS aren't perfect are they! Anyway I am reading the guide and so far its very good. Thanks for posting it.
