HIV & Breaking Condoms

I had a protected sex with a sex worker, unfortunately, the condom broke down & I ejaculated in her due to the fact that she was using an oil based lubricant on the condom, after I realized the matter, I was a bit panic, worrying  of pregnancy & HIV transmission. She seemed to be cool with the case & told me that she always use condoms with her customers, yet, as you may know the sexual worker, there lies can be countless. After that we cleaned both our gentiles with water & shampoo. approx 35 minutes for me, as for her it was immediate. What are the chances to be exposed to STD or HIV from her " She is illegal immigrant & doesnt expose her self to regular testing!!, as well as that & it is my biggest concern, what are the chances for pregnancy, I dont wish to bring a child to this world based on a reckless moment of joy :(( . Please help me Doc ASAP .

In the circumstances you describe, *she* (the sex worker) is actually at greater risk of a possible HIV/STI infection from you than the other way around.

You need to take personal responsibility for your use of condoms and the lubricant (ie water based) that is used if you are genuinely concerned to protect yourself from HIV.

If you are worried about *your* risk of HIV infection from anyone that you believe is not likely to have regular HIV testing, then choose your sex partners with that in mind and learn to use condoms correctly.

You should test at 3 months!

Did the condom break during your ejaculation or just before it?

You would feel the condom break.

you can test 6-8 weeks post exposure for a good indication of your status...but follow up at 3 months for a conclusive result.

if it helps any...most ppl dont have hiv.

test to know your status.
