HIV Duo test at 23 days

Hi - I could really do with some help. I had unprotected sex with a woman I did know. I took the HIV Duo test at 23 days and the result was negative. I have read in several places that the result is accurate after 21 days but in other places in the information says that the test should be taken at 28 days. I am really confused and would appreciate it if anyone knows if a neg result at 23 days is accurate.

Thanks

Thanks. I am still a bit confused as I had read the duo test was more than 90% reliable after 21 days.

70% of people who are going to test positive do by 4 weeks. You have narrowed down your chances of actually have HIV. Given that and the fact that it is not easy to contract HIV, about 1 in !000 I would say your odds look great. Get test at the 3 month mark just to be sure. That is what is considered conclusive. Your early results are very good.
