HIV - ELISA - MEIA test query

I had a risky encounter (well risky by paranoia standards) 6 months back. I waited for the long window period to get as accurate a test as possible and avoid false negatives.

I walked into a hospital and got a test yesterday. The results say "anti-bodies to HIV -  Non Reactive" with a reading of 0.274. The report classifies values within 0.9-0.99 as intermediate and values greater than 1 as reactive.

Now this is a MEIA test while I asked for a ELISA and and receipt says "Test for HIV I&II ELISA". AFAIK Elisa test takes a few days to 2 weeks to test. I got my test results within 24 hours of the test. I have visited the premier hospital in my city.

Am not sure . . . is it time for me to breather easy. . . or is there any other test I should go for. Am quite a paranoid hypochondriac.  I have had no symptoms in the past 6 months which would be construed as HIV related.

Your help would be highly appreciated and relieve me of great tension and depression.
Thanks.

ELISA, MEIA. and MEA tests are all the same tests. You never had a risk and didn't need testing.

well . . . it was it a stranger. While i used a condom, i had a slight skin abrasion on my testicle sac. as i said I am quite a paranoid person as it is.

But my query is largely about the test conducted. Is the MEIA test result that I received within 24 hours reliable? Because I was under the impression ELISA takes several days and up to 2 weeks. Also initial Google-ing seems to suggest that ELISA and MEIA are one and the same. So am worried about how I got my test results this quickly.
