HIV FEAR

Hi,

i was dating a girl who assures me she does not have any HIV and is clean.
I have had unsafe sex with her for almost a week and now i have got cold sores around my mouth under my lips and near the chin. i also have low grade fever of 37.7 which is equivalent of 98.9 faranheit.
i am feeling tired and dizzy, which may be is because i am too concerned. i have asked the girl again and she insist she is totally clean.

can anyone here please advice, if i should worry about anything here, just to add here is that i have been under alot of work stress too and i am HSV 1 from last 8 years, so cold sores can be cause of this or anythnig else. this low grade fever is because of change in weather or any internal infection etc. is 98.9 a fever which i should worry about or is it normal.

please advice.

NO it has nothing to do with HIV. Your gf showed you she does not have HIV. If you can't accept it then go test.

Now its been 4 weeks i have had the last intercourse with my girlfriend, who also sent me her HIV duo test results and they are negative.
I am concerned about a few things i wanted to get out of my head.
The first thing is that i am have headache from last one week which does not go away, i need to take two or three paracetamols to get going, is this a symptom of HIV or no?

secondly i have had two pimples on my lower arms round in size and pimple colour, are these in any way symptoms of HIV?

i am feeling tired most of the day and am a bit too itchy with everything, is this by any way an HIV symptoms.

Kindly bear with my questions and clarify my questions.

thanks,

Vance,

i started sweating and feelin tired and dizzy around 17:00 in the evening and from then onwards fever is taking over slowly.

i am now from last one hour with 99.5 in the ear canal.

i continue sweating

Please clarify me, if fever just start as a first thing in HIV ARS or is it the swollen lymph nodes or rashes that causes fever during ARS.

please , i need to have a clearer picture so i can relax a bit and tomorrow first thing i will go for a blood test.

thanks,

Again..."The body's temp is not consistant at 98.6 all day long." You don't have a fever.

Vance 2335,

my temperature have risen from 98.9 to 99.5 in last one hour. its scaring the hell out of me. I dont know see any rash or any swollen lymph node for now on my body, except a cold sore i have under my lips..

Do you think this fever can be because of me being anxious now about all this or is it something worrying.

please advice

98.9 is not a fever it is a normal temp. The body's temp is not consistant at 98.6 all day long. You should have her test and you should test 3 months after last exposure.

Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.
