HIV Stress and Question

1) If someone with HIV has a cut, how long does the blood on the cut remain active with HIV?
2) If that person touched my food with his cut and blood did get on my sandwich, could I become infected with HIV if i had eaten the sandwich shortly after? Very stressed.
Thanks.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
