It does not matter how long HIV "lives" when exposed to air. As others have explained, HIV-infected blood is NOT infectious once it is outside of a body. Please re-read the only two ways that a person can get HIV and you will see that you cannot be infected with blood that is exposed to air.

The title of your thread says it all - "HIV Anxiety." That is all this is. You asked before and were told that this event is no risk, but I am going to try to make it very easy for you:
As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.
If you don't do either of the two activities I mentioned above, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.
