HIV doubts

Hello All,

I want to know possibility of getting infected by HIV by following means,

1. I have a torn skin due to cracks & open cuts in the thumb but was not bleeding & i borrowed a pen to a sign.I borrowed it by holding the pen exactly the same spot the previous person was holding & is there any chance of getting infected if that persons has a open bleeding cut as i dont know his HIV status.
2. While returning back the pen he accidentally hit his nail in my finger & because of that my skin got peeled of with reddishness like blood & is there any chance of getting infected if skin lcose to nail area has open cut with bleeding?
3. I squashed a mosquito in the bed spread & i washed it to use it again but the squashed mosquito was sticking to bedspread even after washing & unknowingly i used the same water to wash my under wear & used it as well.Any possiblity of getting infected by this incident & now am reluctant to use the bedspread & also those under wears.

But HIV blood will be intact in the mosquito stomach right till its squashed & its like blood in a syringe & where HIV will be active as its in totally sealed condition & it can spread right?

What you heard was incorrect. The reason it is incorrect is that practically everyone who catches HIV has one of the exposures that Teak mentioned. If it were true then there would be cases popping up outside of these exposures, links to mosquito-infested regions, etc. (where it would be MUCH more prevalent), but there is zero scientific evidence to suggest a link in the 30 year history of the HIV epidemic. There are certainly other viruses that can be spread through mosquitoes that one should be aware of but HIV is not one of them.

But i have heard like mosquito bitting on a freshly bleeding wound & squashing the mosquito which sits over a freshly bleeding wound & squashing the mosquito & masturbating with same hand is always an exposure if the mosquito carries HIV blood in it as there is blood to blood contact & blood to fluids contact in all circumstances. So tell me these kind of instances are exposure or not?If NO why so?

Thanks once again teak.So HIV cant be transmitted by mosquitoes in any scenario?Sometime if mosquito sits in my underwear while kept in bathroom due to fear of HIV i wont use that under wear.I will be putting that for a wash before i use it again.Due you think fear of HIV what am having now is rational?

Thanks teak but tell me mosquito or blood inside the mosquito is getting squashed right & that wont cause the infection?.As i washed my under wear in the same water,am worried as that blood might come in contact with my penis to cause any infections?
