HIV from food

I know my question will sound a bit wierd. Actuall I went to a restaurent to have food. In India we eat a thing cold papad. I saw a reddish orange spot on it. When I touched it was removed. Could it be blood and after eating it if it were hiv contaminated blood could it transmit hiv. I read somewhere that stomach acid kills hiv . But duriong that day I had a bit stomach problem may be gas or acidity, so the virus might not have been killed?

I have asked them but they dont answer my questions. People over here are prompt to reply thats why I asked here? My concern was about 15% of the cases where no direct reason was attached for hiv concern thats why I asked. I never meant to hurt your sites integrity

Hi there -

Frankly I don't care what other websites say. HIV is not transmitted by food or oral sex.

You guys keep on saying HIV cannot be transmitted from oral and food but in body.com Doctors say that it can be transmitted if u have cuts or fresh bleeding in your mouth. Further there are 15% of cases in the world where no particular reason has been sighted for hiv contraction.
