HIV from handjob

Hi Everyone
I've been to a Chinese massage spa in the US exactly 4 weeks ago. I was a bit tipsy as you know, and had a massage. To make the story short, it was quite dark, I had a back-massage. After 25 min, the girl asked me to turn around and started giving me an unprotected handjob ( you know, the happy endings you always wish for but never get ). She bent down, picked something up which felled like a rubbed cloth or ex-foliated cream/oil, but I honestly don't know cause I'm not an expert in these massage palours. She also touched my penis head slightly with either her hand or the play stuff, and when I ejacluated, she cleaned everything with a towel which I'm not sure if it was clean or what. Everything was neat and clean again.

I couldn't see anything on her hands, and she didn't use any oil to massage my back either except for whatever she used to play with my willy. O'yes, nothing was wrong with my penis at the date of exposure, no wards, zits, broken skin, cuts, briuises, or any thing, cause if there was, I would've learned my lesson, wouldn't I?

As I mentioned, it was 4 weeks ago ( to the date ), and since then the following things I experienced:
1 - broken skin on my penis which healed in a day or two ( but this happens sometimes cause I shower twice a day to wake up and after sport )
2 - Had a cold after week 2 which cleared up in a week ( normal and i don't think this is a symptom )
3 - Now I have a uncomfortable wollen gland in my right side of my groin, gland uncomforatble under my arms and I can feel glands under my jaw / chin.
4 - Have very very little body pain, some acke around my back / waist and somemuscle pain in my legs.
5 - Sneeze a lot due to hayfever and my girlfirends perfume
6 - feel a bit light headed in the morning and tired in the evening, on the days I don't do sport.

I do feel dicussed with myself, and wish it never happened, but unfortunately it is what it is and I can't change it.

Now my question is, like everyone else, do I have HIV symptoms? I do understand from everyone else's experiences taht the risk is quite low, but does it mean there was still a risk? Would my case be any different from anyone else's case? Should I get tested immediately? ( been tested a year or so ago and negative, and haven't had any dodgy situations in between )

Thank you for your help, it's much appreciated!

you didnt have a LOW risk...you had NO risk.

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected penetration of a penis into the vagina / anus
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

transmission takes place INSIDE the body...not from a handjob ! ! !

Thank you Usopp for your help.

I decided to go for a test any way. Though it's a blood test done at exactly 5 weeks after after the incident. I also tested for everything else, the works.

The Nurse also said it's low risk ( i suppose there's always a risk ) and told me that 5 weeks is still in a window period.

When I get the result, how sure can I be that it's accurate enough? 70% or 80%? I know you should get tested at 13 weeks, but I assume the chances that I'm not like the 1 in a million who seroconvert after 6 weeks is very slim so it should be accurate enough after 5 weeks?

A test is definitely not necessary in your case. I can give you 100% assurance for that.

Hello, Johnnoman.

Handjob is never a risk for transmission of HIV. Thus, you do not have to worry at all.

I hope that clarifies.
