Extreme anxiety, possible exposure through handjob.

Hello sir / mam. I am really worried about a possible exposure around 1 month back in Philippines. There was no vaginal. Anal , oral sex.no penetration at all.The CSW just gave me an unprotected handjob for like 4 -6 seconds holding my penis base, no contact with urethra. Before giving handjob she was fingering herself.I am worried because probably she got some vaginal fluids on my penis.I couldn't wash my penis properly exactly after the act. After 2 weeks from this , i got fever and swollen lymph node on neck which i assumed to be HIV symptoms.I took paracetamol for fever and antibiotics for swollen lymph node. Both got ok quickly.Got antibody tested after 3 weeks- non reactive. But still the anxiety is too much and i am just waiting to get checked again at 3 months post exposure. Here are my questions-
1) possible risk for std / HIV from this exposure.
2) u think that swollen lymph node on neck if that was due to hiv- can be cured by antibiotics or with ART drugs only?
3) for hiv to transmit sexually, is it necessary to penetrate?

As our members have stated, hand jobs are not a risk for HIV.  We wish you well.

Just to mention i am not sure that i even had a small cut on my penis...not actively bleeding. Can this be a risk factor? I saw on many forums its written that 'mutual masturbation is safe as long as there are no exchange of body fluids' and ' no cuts or sores or broken skin'' . Can u explain this pls coz it totally opposes ur explanation of non transmission in this way.pls respond.Thanks.

You had no risk and your HIV test was a waste of time. You caught a fever from someone coughing on you just like anyone else who is negative.
HIV is instantly inactivated in air and also in saliva which means it is effectively dead so it can't infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. It doesn't matter if you and they were actively bleeding or had cuts at the time either because the HIV is effectively dead.
Only adult risks are the following:
1. unprotected penetrating vaginal
2. unprotected penetrating anal sex
3. sharing needles that you inject with. These 3 are all you need to know to protect yourself against HIV. Your situation is a long way from any of these 3.
Even with blood, lactation, cuts, rashes, burns, etc the air or the saliva does not allow inactivated virus to infect from touching, external rubbing or oral activities. The above HIV science is 40 years old and very well established so there is no detail that you can add that will make any of your encounter a risk for HIV.  No one in 40 years of HIV history got HIV from the situation you are concerned about so it is unlikely that it will happen in the next 40 of your lifetime either.

Tnx 4 the reply sir. Then lymph node swell due to any other normal infection or tooth/ gum problem?how to help this anxiety guys...pls help..i guess Googling symptoms isn't the best idea...shall i get tested again after 3 months?
Reread about the 3 and you can answer all those questions.
I can't help this anxiety... I feel tired most of the times specially at night.Too much depressed.I have arranged a duo antigen antibody test after on Monday.i.e. 35 days ( 5 weeks) after that episode. Can someone tell me about the accuracy of this combo test at 5 weeks... As compared to the 3 months only antibody test? Any advice or replies will be highly appreciated..i am in too much mental strain.
