possible ARS?

hi,

I had an exposure a month and week ago. So i’m on 36th after unprotected sex. Today i got flu. Can be ARS? I did a 4th generation test 27 days after exposure and the result was negative. Should i retest now? I’m very afraid!

Thx

Symptoms are not used to diagnose HIV, ever.  Only a test can diagnose HIV.  We urge you to see a doctor regarding the state of your mental health, but as this is not an anxiety support group, we are closing this thread.  You are welcome to return and post your test results if you choose to test on or after the 6-week mark, though it is highly unlikely for your result to change.

Hi,

Sorry about ask again, but i'm very anxious. Now, i'm very sick, i had cough and several diarrhea and in the same time, just 10 days after i and my fiancee had unprotected sex with ejaculation she's with sore throat. I don't wanna to be boring, but i'm terrified. I wanna thinking in suicide.

Why everybody around the world say that we have to do a 3 month test? Can i really belive in my 4th generation test? How can i have a question answered by Dr Handsfield?

Thanks a lot!

You can read anything on the internet and if you continue to google for death you will continue to be very anxious. You need to stop googling cold turkey or else see a mental health therapist to stop this behavior.
We rely on the opinion of expert doctors so do not pay attention to whatever you can find on the internet since some sites use conservative or outdated guidelines that have never occurred in 40 years of hiv history - you might as well add meteorites to your fear list as well as 1,000 other "risks".
You will have flu many times in your life so need to find a way to accept it instead of going to pieces thinking it proves hiv.

Vaginal, oral or anal? People cough on your lips so flu is to be expected at any time so it is silly to think you proved you have hiv because of flu.

unprotected oral two times and vaginal one time. after that, i did protected vaginal and anal with a girl from a massage parlour.
all of the that with the same person and the same day too
Only the unprotected vaginal was a risk. For a conclusive result, yu should have waited for 28 days, but 27 is likely good enough.
so my test is conclusive? and about the flu?
