HIV symptoms

Hi back in October 2013 i started working in a prison drawing blood i was doing my clinical for school i came in contact with all type of kilers rapist and hiv infected people i was always careful during my last week there i became ill with what i thought was an ear infection as the day went on body aches came fever it was to paniful to be a flu i went to the doctor of course he said the flu and gave me meds i got worse about a few days later my tonsils were swollen with pus it was bad went to the er they give me a steroid shot and pain shot it left the swollen tonsils came back 4 times in November of 13 with out the body pain and fever then came back twice in 2014 with light body pain and mild fever of course i had blood drawn but idk if they check for hiv and i didn't ask i was scared when my white blood cell count was found to be to high so i.never went back for my results so do.this mean i have hiv

Symptoms have nothing to do with HIV

I know getting a test is the only to know im going to do that today but i was
just asking about the symptoms that i had and kept coming back thats all cause i know ars only happens once

Ok, then why did you speak about the prison and not the actual risk? Take a test only way to know.

Well the illness came 2 months after i had been involved with this guy
Who i slept with and i found he was sleeping around i ask him to get tested he
Said he was clean plus i had all the classic signs of the virus i just had blood drawn and is till  ask them to check for hiv im scared
