HIV transmission - Exposure risk

Hello Dr,
Exposure: Extensive rubbing during lap dance - I was wearing with very thin pant and no underwear. She was nude.
Medical issues :
1.) Short of breadth along with painful rashes(flat and sometimes bit raised ) all over body .
Numbness and tingling in hands and foot with cold sensation.  All these come together on and off and eventually go away in 2 to 4 hours.  2) sometimes Ear pressure and pain around eye, throbbing sensation in head .
Prexisting issues:  1) acute Sinus issue   2) Acute Upper Airway Obstruction  3) erectile dysfunction

On 2nd week (10 days) - My primary care physician did blood and urine tests (Comprehensive metabolic, Lipid, PSA, TSH, CBC, Testosterone, STD screening) .  HIV 3rd generation is non-reactive . All other tests are normal except cholesterol and herpes (HSV1,HSV2) . HSV2 reading is 3.5. He is not sure when I could have got herpes as never had outbreaks. He prescribed valacyclovir 500mg twice daily for 2 months.
On 8th week (52 days) - HIV 3rd generation tested and non-reactive . I'd been on valacyclovir 500mg twice daily for 1 month. All above mentioned medical issues are still existing.
On 10th week (68 days) - HIV 3rd generation  tested and non-reactive . Stopped valacyclovir 500mg for 1.5 weeks after 1 month consumption. All above mentioned medical issues are still existing.
1.) I came to know about my HSV2 status after testing . So, what if I got this before my exposure and exposed to extensive rubbing for long time with some herpes ulcers . She was nude and I came during the dance. I don't know how compare a very thin pant (no underwear) is with condom . What is my HIV risk on this?
2.) Do you conclude with hiv test done so far , that I'm hiv free ? Does Valacyclovir 500mg twice daily for 1 month has any interaction with hiv testing? Any further testing required at 13 week mark ?
3.) I'm planning to consult with neurologist this week . what's your recommendation for my medical issues?

This is a te petition question.  I already told both that you exposure did not put you at risk and that your 10 week test proved you did not have HIV.   You do not have HIV from the exposure you described.

This will end this thread.  EWH

Thanks doctor for all your valuable responses .  Here goes my last question to ease my mind - can you conclude I'm hiv free with all these testings till 10th week irrespective my exposure ?  I didn't have any exposure after that as well .

Thanks Again

I really do not think a specialist other than a neurologist is needed at this time.  That's the next step--one thing at a time. EWH

Thanks doctor for your response and your outstanding support to this community.   I understand what you saying but still my mind is not coming out of HIV episode since all these symptoms started right after the mentioned exposure.  I have no other any kind of exposures as well . All these symptoms are still exist and also short of breadth/rash comes with pin pain all over body and some times having heavy pain in thigh /arm/leg .

Your recommentation what I meant in previous question is that - any particular specialist who want to suggest me for follow up with respect to these symptoms ..

Thanks Again .

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be pleased to comment.  The exposure you describe did not put you at risk for  HIV or, for that matter, any other STI.  HIV is not transmitted from person to person without penetration and is not ever transmitted through clothing, even if the clothing is thin or wet.

Your tests for HIV are now definitive and prove the point that I made- you did not get HIV from the exposure that you describe.

As for herpes, your positive test.  just 10 days after exposure are most consistent with the possibility that you had acquired herpes at some time in the past and were not aware of it..  This is not unusual. the majority of persons in the U.S. are unaware that they are infected.

Finally, the symptoms that you describe are not typical of any STI.

In answer to your specific questions:
1.) I came to know about my HSV2 status after testing . So, what if I got this before my exposure and exposed to extensive rubbing for long time with some herpes ulcers . She was nude and I came during the dance. I don't know how compare a very thin pant (no underwear) is with condom . What is my HIV risk on this?
See above.,   I suspect your herpes was a pre-exisitng infection and even with vigorous rubbing there is no risk for HIV.

2.) Do you conclude with hiv test done so far , that I'm hiv free ? Does Valacyclovir 500mg twice daily for 1 month has any interaction with hiv testing? Any further testing required at 13 week mark ?
Correct.  You can be confident that you did not get HIV from the exposure that you describe.  The valacyclovir that you took would not influence your HIV test in any way.

3.) I'm planning to consult with neurologist this week . what's your recommendation for my medical issues?
Your abnormal sensations are not suggestive of any recently acquired STI.  These sorts of symptoms may have many causes including vitamin deficiencies and a number of medical problems.  I am not a neurologist and will leave the assessment of these problems to you, other than to assure you that they are not due to any STI.

I hope that this comment is helpful to you.  EWH
