Can you help me?

Dear experts

I am a maintenance technicist.  I and one colleague repair a truck. There was a sharp damage in the outer shell of the truck.. My colleague was scratched by it seriously. There was some small amout blood left on it, some damaged skin and some object like the damaged flesh., After hurt by it, My colleague went away, I first don’t pay much attention to it. Unfortunately, I was poked by it carelessly  later in very short time.It cause bleeding.

I read lots of answers in this forum, I find the previous answer that the virus couldn’t live well when the blood is outside the body, it begins to die once outside the body. But I can’t confirm my situation. Do I need to test?

I also have some questions. I know the transmission is caused by the body fluid, as the blood, secretion. But in my situation, I have some doubt. Can the virus maintain infectious in the little  skin and the little flesh object left by my collegue? Can the virus live longer in the small piece of tissue than in the blood?

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

You never had an exposure and yes hiv does not survive if it comes in contact with outside environment.
