HPV and Home Treatment
I was infected with genital warts 6 months ago and have been treating it myself. Since then my vagina became extremeley dry and it is so dry that I feel like even my cervix is dry. I made an apt to see my obgyn but she cancelled on me to go on vacation for 2 weeks. I figured I could wait 2 weeks and it wouldn't make a big difference but my vagina has lost most feeling and is so incredibly dry i don't know what to do. i think this happend because of one of the treatments I did myself. Is it possible for the inside of the vagina to completley dry out, and if so can it be helped? I put in a tampon the other day just to see how dry it would be and after 6 hours I took it out and it was hardly moist at all. What did i do???

Teak is right, call and talk to the nurse. Check the label on the medication. Make sure it is intended to be used in the manner you are using it. You probably should discontinue the use if it is causing problems. You may be doing more harm than good.
