Having serious symptoms unprotected sex

Hey Doc I just wanted to do a quick follow up on last post and I'm through. AA healthy hetero Male had Unprotected sex AA female unknown HIV status. Caught Chlamidiya not sure if I have HIV or not. Chlamidiya has been deevastating not sure if I have kidney infection or pancreas problem from it or not now?..Anyway @ the 28 day mark got a PCR DNA test done confirmed by Elisa and it was negative so that's exactly 4 weeks. I did a follow up 6 week blood test @ PCP office using Elisa which came back negative. I was very excited untill a day before my 6 week test I started suffering from joint paint which I still have except it is worse. That Saturday I tested @ 6 weeks got my results Tuesday negative. Now I have tingling sensation from the neck down. @ night I can hardly sleep because I'm nervous also the tingling increases or decreases depending upon position. Its in both arms my neck and I can feel it in my lef sometimes and my forehead when I lay down.It is very scary..My throat feels a lil funny can't describe it . I believe I have developed cotton mouth as well. I am getting slight headaches from the neck pain and my facehas the tingling feeling as well. Other than that my left flank pain has gotten 75-80% bettter. Not bloating have lots of energy...But the joint pain and lower back pain cotton mouth I believe could be HIV...Its nonstop and my right knee feels swollen.Bottom line do you advice going to do a 8 week and then 12.the irl who use to be a friend will not reveal her hiv status then she lied and said the dr told her it takes 2 weeks for HIV results...I'm doing this on my cell phone G1 sorry for mispellingshard 2 type.

I saw this comment before I replied above.  It makes no difference in my opinion or advice. See your doctor if you continue to have symptoms that concern you; it is not possible that HIV is the cause.  Please accept the reassurance, do whatever you need to do in terms of further HIV testing for the confidence it will give you, and then move on.  I won't have any additional comments.

As we discussed a couple of weeks ago, you were at low risk for HIV.  The negative HIV DNA test at 4 weeks was virtually 100% proof you didn't catch HIV.  From an HIV risk perspective, you don't need any further testing at all.  But if an additional negative test will help get you past your obviously intense emotional reaction to all this, by all means do it.  A single additional antibody test at either 8 or 12 weeks is all you need.
