Help, my anxiety is too much?

Hi, I gave oral sex twice to a girl I met online from thailand (not a sex worker) in April, also had minor penetration for a minute or two with out condom. I got tested for HIV after 13 weeks and it came back negative. My problem is I still have what i percieve are symtoms. I have pains (not strong in arms, legs, groin, armpits off and on. I had neck, shoulder, back pain for a month, I lost weight (before I was freaked out about hiv) and my appetite is not good. I think my tougnue is white and bad taste in mouth. I have a rash on my lefty arm, (redspots here and there - I thought it was sun rash from Doxycyclene I was taking  - I stopped taking over a week ago but rash is still there). I started seeing a therapist because I can't think about anythin else for the last to months. I just took another test yesterday waiting for the results. I had unprotected sex with my GF after this encounter i had in thailand in early May, and she got diahreaha in June for more then two weeks with back pain. I think I gave her hiv. Is my 13 week test ok or am I going nuts?

No medical condition or drugs alter the reliability of HIV testing, except maybe very advanced chemotherapy and life threatening illnesses like terminal cancer --  and even those are only theoretical.  Just accept the reassurance you were given and move on.  End of thread.

The Pimples are due to the stress you are putting yourself thru
Dr Handsfield has already told you that you are conclusive! Dont expect him to hold your hand through this except your test results and MOVE ON buddy.

My 4 month test came back negative. However I have a question. I have only one kidney and have been on Antibiotics for 10 years to treat recurring urnary tract infection. Would these impact the HIV test at all? My symtoms also include a possible yeast infection around near penis for the last two months. I have taken Doxycyclene but it has only cleared it up a little. Also getting more pimples on face then normal??

Stopping after the first 2 lines of your question. First, in the 3 decade known history of HIV/AIDS, not one person is known to have acquired HIV by perfomring cunnilingus.  Second, the chance is low your Thai partner had HIV.  Third and most important, your negative test at 13 weeks is proof positive you weren't infected.

Now I have read the rest of your comments.  They make no difference.  Once enough time has passed for the HIV tests to become positive, symptoms never outweigh test results in deciding about new HIV infections.  Never, no exceptions.  Anyway, you don't describe any symptoms in you or your GF that suggest either of you has HIV.

You're fine. Time to put HIV out of your mind and move on.
