Help, very worried about club recent incident?

Hello Dr. H.

I need some advice about something that I am really worried about. I'll start off by saying that I am a 18 years old and I'm still a virgin so sex is still new to me and I'm just not sure if my story below is evident of me getting HIV. Gosh I'm really scared and need your professional advice since I don't have any medical with this darn economy too. Getting to the main point...

I went to a dance club a few days ago. Before I went to the club, I clean shaved my beard. During shaving, I might have gotten a few tiny cuts on my beard. But after showering, no blood was comming out of my beard. I further put on aftershave lotion and it  really stung. Then 5 hours later, I was at a dance club. In the club, I met a pretty girl who did not have any kind of cuts of open sores on her face. She hugged me and kissed me on my shaved neck and beard area. My question is doctor, because the girl rubbed her check/face on my SHAVED beard/neck area and kissed my SHAVED beard/neck area could I have gotten HIV from this incident???

Also note Doctor, the girl didn't bit me or kiss me on my lips and I wasn't not bleeding anywhere on my beard/neck area before going into the club. I prettty sure that my shaved beard had healed within those 5 hours before going into the club. I'm sure you've probably also encountered one of these situations bbefore in your young adult life doc so please help me doc since this has started to affect me, and I really need your professional advice.

Thanks Doc and I really look forward to your advice.

Welcome to our Forum.  I am pleased to tell you that you have nothing to worry about and that there is no risk to you from having your recently shaved neck kissed.  No STD or HIV has EVER been transmitted by kissing, even if one of the persons had blood or sores in their mouth.  You have no reason to worry and do not need testing of any sort.

I hope this answer is comforting to you.  Take care.  EWH
