HIV RISK FOR ACTIVE GAY GUYS

ok i have recently had sex with a guy, and yes i pride myself on wearing protection, and i did not fail this time, however during the course of the act the condom broke, i had no idea it was broken till we had finished....

i am cut and i only give not receive. and he tells me he is clean.... what are the risks of catching something.... its kinda freaked me out a lot......

are my chances reduced as i am cut (read it somewhere) and the fact i only give not receive????

please advise... thanks

sorry guys, didn't mean to be offensive, i guess there are right ways to say things and wrong ways, and what he said was the wrong way, it was just the term he used......sorry guys.

is it a bigger risk being active or passive or is the risk exactly the same?

He's clean? I'm clean too, just took a shower, but that doesn't mean I don't have AIDS. For your future reference, the word "clean" when refering to someone that does not have HIV, is very offensive to those that do. HIV is just what it is, a disease.

You were protected till the condom failed. Yes, being cut does help reduce the risk. You still need to test. You can receive your conclusive test result at 3 months post exposure.
