is it possible my test may be wrong

about 4 months ago i had sex with a girl that i knew little about i didn't use a condom and i found out a couple of weeks ago she had shot up with heroin sold her self to random men for it that included bi sexual men i didn't get word of this until about a couple of days after words then i got a really bad flu it was going around in my town but mine was really bad my symptoms were fever fatigue loss of appetite, coughing, sneezing, and diarrhea then about 2 monthes later i got sick again my symptoms were broncitis with a fever coughing and loss of appetite but possibly smoking could have attributed to broncitis well i waited 11 weeks and took a HIV test it came back negative but i still continue to have broncitis coughing up mucus and such is it possible my HIV test was a false negative

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHLY unlikely.

with today's tests...most ppl will test positive by 4-6 weeks.   just get a rapid test done...get that conclusive test result so that you can put this out of your head and resume your life without this worry.

UNTIL YOU ARE IN A MONOGAMOUS RELATIONSHIP, WHERE BOTH OF YOU HAVE TESTED...ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM.   SEX LASTS A FEW MINUTES...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME.

your test at 11 weeks is as about as close to being conclusive as one can get.  according to the guidelines...a test at 3 months is needed for a conclusive test result...but i would relax and EXPECT A BIG FAT NEGATIVE :)
