Hi i wanted to know if Covid 19 would extend hiv window period. I checked on day 51, 97 and day 110 ( more that 3 months) with rapid blood tests and it was negative.I checked for covid too after these test and that found nothing as well but just in case i just wanted to ask
4th generation tests are accurate at 28 days. That's all you need to know, you don't have HIV is you got a negative test at that point on.

You don't state your risk. What was your risk.
Unprotected sex was the risk. Will never take it again! Thanks for the info
4th gen rapid test are conclusive 28 days and 3rd gen are conclusive at 3 months regardless of other infections or covid 19 Got it :)
I had a 2 4th gen rapid blood test on day 28 and 51, then 3rd gen rapid blood test on day 97 and 110 for a total of 4.
