What is the possible risk?

Hello, I want to ask what is the risk of a needle injury in a non-medical setting/ non-IV drug user.

Long story short, I went to work for 8 hours and stopped by a gas station to fill up gas, then went home. When I got home, I noticed that my Nitrile glove got a tiny hole in the thumb area. I have no idea how it happened because I wear it from starting of my shift until I got home. I do security work, but not much interaction with people/ objects on that day. I start to think it might happen at the gas station and worried that something poked and broke my glove at the Gasoline pump because I saw some real news report of customers getting poked by a hidden needle in the gasoline nozzle in Chicago and California in 2021, and 2020. (needle device & hypodermic needle)

At this point, I know it sounds OCD thinking, but since it is no more a Hoax, I just want to know what is the risk of this kind of exposure, when finger got poked by a needle while grabbing the gasoline nozzle. (I was on phone at that time, so I didn't pay attention if there were poking feelings or pain. Plus I wash my hand when I got home, so I didn't pay attention if there was any blood, until I noticed that was a tiny hole in my glove). Thank you.

We assume that you can you can apply things to all situations. We can't answer every random passing fear your brain conjures up. Risks for hiv include are unprotected vaginal or anal sex (intercourse in vagina or anus that is penetrating without a condom) or sharing IV needles to inject drugs. That's it. Air and saliva inactivate the virus. That's it. Apply to everything else going forward. If it is not one of those three things, it is not a risk.

I'm sure you know the meaning of the word "about only" so you shouldn't be asking any questions about hiv risks because the science is 40 years old and doesn't change.
