having sex with someone...EVEN IF THEY ARE HIV POSITIVE...does not mean automatic infection.

you tested negative because you DONT have hiv.

You mention even if they are positive it’s not automatic transmission but is that related to them not being aware they have it and not on viral meds or them being on viral meds because if they are known to be positive and are virally surpressed wouldn’t that make them unable to transmit? So I’m wondering if you are referring to them unaware they have it
Erock1990 See a therapist to deal with your hiv fixation over the last month or so.
NO, that's not what that means at all. Male-to-female ransmission risk for any one-time event with someone who is HIV+ and not on meds is about 0.05%, meaning that the HIV-negative person has a 99.95% chance of NOT getting HIV from the positive person.

However, I agree with AnxiousNoMore. There's no reason for you to be posting here without testing for HIV, and if you are unable to face that, see a therapist. We're not here to hold your hand through anxiety.

your test is conclusive...meaning you don't have hiv and don't need further testing.
