HIV/Fungal infection

Hello,

Couple weeks ago i posted about a potential HIV exposure. Received good advice however, i have since developed a fungal infection in my groin/genitals. I have read this is not common in healthy individuals but more common in HIV infected ones.

I am becoming more and more convinced that by some circumstance, whatever it may be, i may have been infected.

Quick rask after MSM sex. Seb derm getting much worse. Fungal infections. Perhaps you can understand my concern?

Thanks.

You have been already advised that you had no risk. Your urethera was protected with a condom and that ensured your safety.

You are clearly very anxious, your irrational HIV scare is just manifestation of some underlying fear or issue, please see a therapist to find out the original cause of it, sex is a normal thing, it's unusual to freak out after an episode of sex, this is only going to make things difficult for you, see a therapist and address the real cause of anxiety from it's root.

Seborrheic dermatitis is a genetic disease in most cases, outbreaks are chronic, they happen due to triggers, stress and anxiety are certainly one of the reasons for it. Other major reason is change of weather, you have mentioned that you have been traveling.

Please see a skin specialist doctors in your area, where you live. Get ample Vitamin D.

You don't have HIV and you do not need to test.

Yes as aformentioned i do have an anxiety disorder so i am very aware of the dangerous way some of my irrational thought processes can impact me.

This event happend a while ago now, quite a few months ago actually, so i have treated my seb derm since then and it impacts me as you might expect, infrequent outbreaks. I have only been concerned as my enitial outbreak was different to how my others have and are, it was a light rash (my mother never even mentioned it) but was itchy and occured in new places, face, forehead and hairline. However, since said enital rash which occured 4 and a half days after sex act, it has not reoccured on my forehead or hairline, just my face/ chest (its been on my chest for years). Leading me to become suspicious of it.

The condom didn't break and he told you ha was negative anyway.
Your idea that your infection proves you have hiv is your science fiction theory, so it is impossible to have a logical conversation about it - I suggest you talk it over with the doctor who diagnosed your fungal issue or else a therapist instead of trying to find someone here interested in that science fiction theory..

I am by no means suggesting that my symptoms/infection provides ground for conclusivity, just mearly enquiring as to whether or not you believe such ‘symptomatic’ occurrences would warrant testing? (i am incredibly anxious about testing).

the condom did ride up my penis, the ring was mid way up my penile shaft and the condom drooped over the end, i didnt notice a break however, i did not check, this happened twice. both times i started with a new condom as i believe that would be correct procudeure for a slipped condom?
Only the urethra needs protection and that happened otherwise it would have fallen off. That is all you need to focus on.
Your symptom ideas make no sense and is just a collection of guesses that you are trying to work up into a t"maybe theory`so you should move on from that impossibility -  no one here pays attention to symptoms.
I have had one condom break on me and it left no doubt. However i just wonder if my condom slipping would have an impact on the way it would tear i.e pressure makes tears more severe, a half empty condom perhaps wouldnt tear such a way. But this i suppose is more maybe theory.

He had also clearly just had a hair transplant so he must have had blood work done for that, im sure that would have come back abnormal if he was positive. Plus he didnt ask to continue when i had no more condoms and said he was on prep/neg. I would like to believe all of this as i am a rational man, but i suffer with an anxiety disorder and emitting such quarms over admittadley indicative symptoms is proving difficult.
Make it easy on yourself and talk one on one with either your doc or a therapist because they might be able to help you look at this differently to get over your anxiety.
Unfortunately i can’t afford therapy and my doctor was rather flippant with the matter, thank you for your advice though
