In need of help

Hi Doc

First, thank you for taking time to read this. I absolutely need you're guidance and expertise.
in mid January I changed jobs, the process was a little stressful. On the 2nd of February I was laying down on the couch when out of nowhere I suddenly felt intense fatigue, like the wind got knocked out of me... I tried to relax, the next day I went to work but felt even worse intense body fatigue and nauseous so I took the rest of the day off and went home to try to sleep it off... I remember laying in bed and my heart was beating very fast.

Since then I've been feeling like I'm in an uphill battle I suddenly get very cold and shivery, my legs and arms get heavy, my appetite goes up and down. I wake up with some sort of burning sensation on my shoulders and back, I get dizzy spells, I feel I don't have the energy I had just 2 months ago! This has been going on for over a month, just when I think I've shacked the feeling off, it's comes back.

No fever though, no rashes, no night sweats just feeling my my body is constantly trying to fight off something.

I am married, I was with sex workers about 2 years ago always protected and just vaginal. Even the oral was with a condom...

My questions is what's happening to me and what should I do??

Thanks for putting my mind at ease Teak, I appreciate it. I just look at your profile
" Paramedic for 34 year. Diagnosed with HIV in 1984" That's amazing... I hope you're feeling well?

Can I ask one last question? Can you guess what can be causing my symptoms?
Let me be a little clearer, like I said my muscles hurt on and off through the day, I feel drained of strength, I'll have great appetite for a few days then none. I haven't lost any weight. I've just been so dizzy like I'm tipping forward. Any idea???

If a condom fails you would know it with out a doubt. No it is not a possibility for a condom to fail and you not know it. When condoms fail they shred and look like a grass dress on a penis. See your doctor for your concern is has nothing to do with HIV.

Teak

What if the condom broke or leaked and I wasn't aware of it? that's always a possibility right? Would I suddenly be feeling like this after 2 years? I've been reading that HIV symptoms may not show for about 8 years.. Is it a possibility that I have HIV symptoms 2 years after intercourse?

What would cause my muscles to be so weak all of a sudden? Occasionally if I stand up my legs shake... I've tried to fight this off as anxiety but it's hit me so hard.

You had protected sex, so no it doesn't have anything to do with HIV.
