Information Please Help

Hi,

I am curious about some information on HIV infections, and the tests that are there.
First, I have read over many internet forums (medhelp and others) that unprotected oral sex does not have a high risk of infection (or any at all). Is this true?

Secondly, how soon after a possible exposure can a test be said to be accurate (the screening khb test - which is third generation i think).

Thirdly, if one experiences some of the symptoms, or all of the symptoms of acute infection, (e.g rash, running stomach, weakness, sore throat) would an ordinary screening test (khb) detect it during that period (about 7 weeks)?

And lastly will the person be more susceptible to infections such as common cold if other people around him/ her have the cold during the window period / during acute hiv infection stage?

Please assist in the information if you can.

Hello,
1. Passive oral sex is for a man Not a risk, only if she/He bleeding a lot from her/his mouth. Oral sex can be risky, If u get cum in your mouth.

2. After 8 weeks u have a 90% Safe result, but u will have to Do a second test at 12 weeks to be 100% sure. Thats the Information i got from the german doctors.

3. Same answer like 2.

4. I dont think so
