hello , thank you for answering my question. But I'm still a little curious.

I read from http://doctor.ndtv.com/faq/ndtv/fid/12536/How_long_does_HIV_survive_in_water.html

that hiv can survive in water up to 96  hours. does it mean it can spread to other hosts ?

The answer is no.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
